Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, has announced the results of this year’s Cultural Awards. The winners were revealed at a prestigious Gala event at Grand Battery House, which was broadcast live by GBC.  

The Minister for Health and Care, the Hon Gemma Arias-Vasquez, officially opened the new Oncology Suite at St Bernard’s Hospital earlier today. The opening fulfils the plans first published on World Cancer Day in February 2024 and marks a major investment in the standard and comfort of cancer care delivered locally.

A team from the UK’s Counter Terrorism Policing, National CBRN Centre completed the delivery of a five-day CBRN (Operational & Tactical) Command course aimed at strengthening the ability of the Emergency Services to respond to CBRN emergency scenarios.

The annual Bookmark Competition, organised by Gibraltar Cultural Services (GCS) and in conjunction with Dyslexia Gibraltar, attracted a total of 49 entries. 

The Ministry of Transport is pleased to announce the introduction of a series of new traffic and parking improvements on Cemetery Road, further enhancing accessibility, safety, and functionality in this part of Gibraltar. These changes will be implemented as a result of stakeholder engagement who use the area daily, as well as meeting the requirements for cemetery visitors, where the main points of concern was the lack of short stay parking in the area.
