His Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar has announced the award of the construction Contracts for the two new affordable housing estates.

A Multi-Agency Live Exercise will be conducted on Wednesday 29th March in the new tunnel that will serve as the vehicular access road to and from the frontier with Spain.
Frontier Pass holders will continue to be able to bypass the frontier queue via the same access point as they currently do.

The Airport Tunnel will open to all vehicular traffic on 31st March 2023 at 00:01. From this date, it will be the only regular access point for all cars and motorcycles (including commercial vehicles) to and from the frontier with Spain, Gibraltar International Airport, Eroski supermarket, Western Beach and Four Corners.
The Ministry for Financial Services has confirmed that James Tipping, the CEO of Gibraltar Finance will be retiring from his post on the 15th of June.

HM Government of Gibraltar and the Ministry of Defence have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will allow pedestrians, cyclists, scooter/e-scooter riders and mobility scooter users to continue to cross the runway at Winston Churchill Avenue after the opening of the new airport tunnel.
His Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar has said it notes the statement today from the independent Investigating Officer appointed by the Royal Gibraltar Police, Mr John McVea, former Chief Superintendent of the Police Service of Northern Ireland, that a 56 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, conspiracy to obtain unauthorised access to computer material, and unlawful obtaining of personal data.
