The Government has commenced the distribution of a commemorate booklet on the 1967 Referendum to thousands of school children all over Gibraltar.
Laguna Youth Club has temporarily relocated to St Theresa’s Hall in Glacis Estate. The club opened their doors on Tuesday 5th December and saw over 60 young people plus parents and residents visit the newly decorated premises.
Government has announced the move of the Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation from its old cramped premises in South Barrack Road into new, purpose-built accommodation at South Jumpers Bastion.

The Ministry of Equality organised a Learning From Auschwitz talk which took place last week at the King’s Bastion Leisure Cinema. This talk was presented by Mr Arek Hersh, a Holocaust survivor and Mr Mike Levy, a Holocaust Education advisor.

A collection of poems by Giordano Durante will be launched this Thursday 14th December. Titled ‘West’, the book brings together 42 poems written in the last year and a half.

Upon the return of the Deputy Chief Minister to Gibraltar from the Joint Ministerial Council on Gibraltar’s Exit from the European Union, the Chief Minister will convene a meeting of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Exiting the European Union in order to brief GSD and independent Opposition MPs and keep them abreast of recent developments.

A minor oil spill was reported to the Gibraltar Port Authority shortly after 1pm on Wednesday 6 December 2017. The oil spill occurred when a yacht taking luboils at Western Arm suffered an overflow of delivery from the tank vent on deck which made its way into the sea via one of the deck scuppers.
