Pupils at Governor’s Meadow Lower Primary School were delighted to welcome Gib Bees.
Pupils got the chance to dress as bee keepers, and explored a beehive and were intrigued to learn about how bees make honey. The pupils also handled some of the equipment beekeepers use such as a smoker. It was a wonderful experience enjoyed by all.
