The Minister for Justice, Trade & Industry, the Honourable Nigel Feetham, presented Long Service Certificates to members of staff from the Royal Gibraltar Post Office (RGPO) at a ceremony held on Monday 13th July 2026.
This is the first time that Long Service Certificates have been presented to RGPO staff. The initiative, introduced as part of the department's ongoing training and development programme, has been established to formally recognise and honour employees for their loyalty, dedication and longstanding contribution to the Royal Gibraltar Post Office.
Addressing the recipients, Minister Feetham said:
"I am delighted to present these Long Service Certificates to members of staff of the Royal Gibraltar Post Office in recognition of their many years of dedicated service. Public service relies on the commitment, professionalism and experience of individuals such as those we recognise today. Their loyalty and hard work have helped ensure the continued delivery of an essential service to our community. I congratulate each of the recipients on this well-deserved recognition, and thank them for their valued contribution to the Royal Gibraltar Post Office and to Gibraltar."
The Director of Postal Services, Peter Linares, said:
"Important milestones should be acknowledged and celebrated, and more than 25 years of service within a department is an achievement worthy of recognition. Today's presentation recognises the commitment and dedication that these members of staff have demonstrated to postal services in Gibraltar."
