South District Constituency Meeting

South District Constituency Meeting

The Minister for the South District Constituency, Professor John Cortes, will hold his next constituency meeting on Thursday 15th October 2026.

The meeting will take place at Central Hall at 5:00 p.m.

Residents of the South District are invited to attend and take the opportunity to discuss matters affecting the area directly with the Minister. The meeting will provide an informal and open setting in which residents can raise issues of concern, offer suggestions and exchange views on matters of local interest.

The meeting will also provide an opportunity to follow up on issues raised by residents at previous constituency meetings and to discuss other matters that have arisen since.

Minister Cortes said:

“I very much value these regular opportunities to meet with residents of the South District and hear directly about the issues that matter to them.

“Previous meetings have generated useful and constructive discussions, and a number of the matters raised have been followed up with the relevant departments and agencies. These meetings are also an important way of identifying new concerns and ideas from within the community.

“I look forward to welcoming residents once again on 15th October and to another positive and productive discussion.”
