Gibraltar Cultural Services on behalf of the Ministry of Culture is pleased to announce the New Year’s Classical Concert for 2017 as part of its cultural events calendar. The event will be organised for the Government of Gibraltar by the Gibraltar Philharmonic Society.
The Society will be organising a “New Year’s Family Concert” featuring the well-known orchestra, The European Sinfonietta, conducted by the eminent Juan Cantarell Rocha, at the John Mackintosh Hall Theatre at 6.30pm on Wednesday 4th January 2017. This is a fun- filled concert full of surprises and geared for the whole family.
The Minister for Culture, the Media, Youth and Sport, the Hon Steven Linares said, “We are very proud to host the New Year’s Family Classical Concert for the whole family to enjoy together, this year focused on entertaining our children and introducing a new generation to the beauty and wonder of classical music. We have been working very closely with the Gibraltar Philharmonic Society and sincerely thank them for making it all happen”.
Tickets for the Family Concert are priced at £7 for children and £10 for adults. A family ticket priced at £30 will also be available either for two adults and two children or one adult and three children.
