Minister Arias-Vasquez Confirms GibLink London Speakers Following Success of Manchester Event

The Minister for Health, Care and Business, the Hon Gemma Arias-Vasquez MP, has welcomed the success of GibLink Manchester, held on Wednesday 30th September at The Dome, ABC Building rooftop, the first event in the GibLink series to be held in the United Kingdom. The evening brought together entrepreneurs, investors, professionals and business press from across Manchester and the North West, reflecting the continued strength of Gibraltar's ties to the city.

The event's success follows closely on the Hon. Gemma Arias-Vasquez MP, Minister for Business, attending the Labour Party Conference, where she met with the Prime Minister and updated him directly on HM Government of Gibraltar's drive to build on its longstanding connection with the city and the North.

HM Government of Gibraltar also today confirms the full agenda for GibLink London, the flagship event in the series, taking place on Tuesday 20 October, from 5:30pm to 9pm, at the OXO Tower, London.

The evening opens with a conversation between Molly McElwee, Sports Writer at The Times, and Simon Gillett, Founder and Group Chief Executive of Balaena, on building a global maritime group from Gibraltar, hosted by Hassans. This is followed by Albert Isola, Senior Partner at Isolas, in conversation with Louis Montegriffo, Managing Director of BMI Group, on investing in Gibraltar's next property chapter, hosted by Callaghans.

Following a break hosted by Blands, the Hon. Gemma Arias-Vasquez, Minister for Health, Care and Business, will deliver the evening's keynote speech. She will be followed by the Hon. Fabian Picardo KC, Chief Minister, in conversation with the Hon. Peter Caruana KCMG KC of Peter Caruana & Co, former Chief Minister, discussing where Gibraltar goes next, hosted by Gibtelecom. The discussion will be led by veteran interviewer, Clive Golt, former Media Director for both men in their time as Chief Ministers of Gibraltar. The evening closes with networking, drinks and canapés.
