GASA Bathing Pavilion to remain open until 30 September

HM Government of Gibraltar is pleased to announce that the GASA Bathing Pavilion will remain open beyond the end of the official bathing season, from Monday 14 September to Wednesday 30 September 2026 inclusive.

The extension follows confirmation that sufficient lifeguards and beach attendants will be available to staff the facility safely throughout this period.

From Monday 14 September the pavilion will operate on a reduced weekday schedule, as it did at the start of the season in May. Opening hours will be:

• Monday to Friday: 4pm to 8pm

• Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 8pm

The extension is intended to allow pavilion users to continue to enjoy an accessible recreational facility during the latter part of the season.

The Minister for the Environment, Prof John Cortes, said: “The Bathing Pavilion is one of our most popular summer facilities and I know how much it is valued by those who use it, including many who rely on the access to the sea it provides. I am delighted that we have been able to keep it open until the end of September, and I am grateful to the lifeguards and beach attendants whose availability has made this possible."
