UNITE ASKS FOR PUBLIC SUPPORT

"... it is the Government which has not honoured this agreement..."

The Nurses from the Elderly Care ask the public to join them on their walk to Convent Place from the Piazza at 5.00p.m. on Tuesday, 27th September to hand in signatures collected and thank you letters from relatives whose family have received care.

We would like to correct a statement made in the Chronicle on Friday, 23rd September which stated that the Management of the Care Agency had not honoured our parity agreement with the G.H.A., it is the Government which has not honoured this agreement and the nurses wish to express they have a very good working relationship with Management.

We ask the public if you feel the Nurses are equal to their colleagues at the G.H.A. please show your support.  Thank you.
