Yesterday, the Minister for Education, the Hon Gilbert Licudi QC MP, hosted a visit to the University of Gibraltar by the La Linea councillor for Education, Rosa Lopez.

Ms Lopez was shown around the premises and received a briefing on the different courses available to students.

Minister Licudi and Ms Lopez took the opportunity to discuss areas of potential cooperation between the Gibraltar education authorities and their counterparts in La Linea. These included exchange visits to schools on the Rock and La Linea by respective students from both sides of the frontier.
