The GSLA's Summer Sports Train Programme begins on Monday, 6th July, and will run Mondays to Fridays, until Friday 28th August.

Registration will take place daily between 9:00am and 9:30am, with pick-up between 12:15pm and 12:30pm.

All age groups will be based at the Bayside Sports Complex (BSC) on Mondays and Fridays. For information on the off-site venues for the older age groups on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, please refer to the Summer Sports Programme available at www.gsla.gi

If you have already registered your child for the programme, they will already be enrolled on our registers. If you have not yet registered, there is no need to worry, as parents may register their children on the first day they attend the programme.

Please note that your child may attend whenever they wish. There is no requirement to participate every day, and youngsters are welcome to go on holiday or take part in other summer activities before returning to Sports Train. The only requirement is that participants arrive before 9:30am each day.

Please note that there are no parking facilities at the BSC, and vehicle access for drop-offs is extremely limited. Parents are encouraged, wherever possible, to travel by public transport, bicycle or on foot. Alternatively, please use nearby public parking and make your way on foot to the registration point at the MUGA, located behind the Tercentenary Sports Hall, with pedestrian access between the World Trade Centre and the BSC.

Please ensure your children attend wearing suitable sports clothing and trainers, together with a hat and sunscreen. They should also bring plenty of water or a refillable water bottle, as well as a snack. Please avoid sending chocolate or any products containing nuts, as several children registered on the programme have severe nut allergies.

This year's programme is packed with fun sporting activities that promote learning through play. We look forward to welcoming you and your children over the coming weeks and wish everyone an enjoyable and active summer.
