Gibraltar participated at the Seatrade Cruise Med cruise and shipping convention and the 53rd MedCruise General Assembly in Lisbon, Portugal from 18th to 20th September.
Seatrade Cruise Med brought together representatives from all sectors of the cruise industry and a team from the Gibraltar Tourist Board (GTB) and the Gibraltar Port Authority (GPA) was based in the Gibraltar booth on the MedCruise stand during the event. GPA representatives also attended the Portugal Shipping Week convention.
During the event Nicky Guerrero, Chief Executive of the Gibraltar Tourist Board acted as moderator for a discussion session entitled Meeting Future Demand in the Med and its Adjoining Seas in the Conference Theatre at the event.
The Gibraltar brand featured heavily at the event with all delegate bags and badges carrying the Gibraltar Tourist Board and Gibraltar Port Authority logos.
