The Minister for Culture, Steven Linares has officially launched the 2018 Spring Festival Programme.

Commenting on the Festival Minister Linares said:

It gives me a great pleasure to present the full and varied programme of events that comprise this year’s Gibraltar Spring Festival. Most of these events have been organised by or on behalf of the Ministry for Culture, and others organised by private entities and have chosen to host their respective event under the Spring Festival umbrella. Regardless of the method of inception and production, they all share one common purpose in promoting the arts and culture within our community.

By forming part of the Spring Festival these events ensure that as from 1st May and for over seven consecutive weeks, visitors and locals alike, can enjoy an intense period of cultural and other related activities.

I wish you all a most enjoyable and entertaining Spring Festival 2018 ’.

The winners of the Spring Logo Competition were also awarded their prizes with the 1st prize of £300 going to Steven Aguilera.
