A Group convened this morning to discuss contingency plans whilst Monarch awaits CAA decision on whether to renew its licence to sell package holidays because of concerns regarding the company's future.

“We are aware of reports regarding Monarch airlines. HM Government of Gibraltar is making prudent contingency plans in case flights to or from Gibraltar are affected.” explained a Government statement.
