Following the success of the Bus Tracker WebApp for Routes 2, 3 and 4, Govt are pleased to announce the launch of the eagerly awaited Route 9.

Additionally, the Information Technology & Logistics Department (IT&LD) have been working closely with the Gibraltar Bus Company and developed a new feature to the WebApp. The improvement to the platform will give the user greater detail on the location of each of the buses on route and provide added information of the buses’ last recorded position and any other anomalies, explaining possible reasons for this.

Further routes will be launched as and when they are developed and fully tested by the IT & LD.

The Night Bus is still operational on Friday and Saturday nights from 21:00 to 02:00.

The Night Bus will also be available throughout December so members of the public can make use of the service during the festive period to include the 24th, 25th 30th and 31st December. This bus service will assist the RGP’s drinking and driving awareness campaign and give other transport options to persons celebrating on these festive dates.

The Minister for Transport, Traffic and Technical Services Paul Balban said: “I am pleased to see yet another Bus Route added to the Gibraltar Bus Tracker WebApp platform. I would like to thank the IT & LD and the Gibraltar Bus Company for their commitment and effort to improve the public transport experience for all bus users.
