The 6th August 2016 will be the eleventh Harley & Custom Bike Show laid on by the Harley Riders Gibraltar (HRG), formerly known as Harley Davidson Club (Gibraltar) (HDC).

"The club was initially set up by a group local enthusiasts who loved riding Harleys back in 2005  and the membership has continued to grow ever since!" explains committee member Ian Bass, "The name change of the club took place in 2015 as so did the “Patch” design (the club logo) to the current design which is worn on the back of our members and adorn our letter heads and other club paraphernalia."

The Rally kicks off around 10.30am at Casemates Square, where approximately 1000 bikers from the UK, Spain, Portugal and Poland begin to arrive. They are escorted from the frontier, across the runway and into Casemates Square.

"Any late comers will be guided by temporary signs that will lead them to Casemates and to the Clubhouse at Lathbury Barracks.  We also have the support from our own Local Motorcycle clubs who always attend the show. This allows enthusiasts to meet, check each other’s bikes out and basically talk bikes!

As always the day draws the interest of “Non-biking” members of the public who just want to admire the Harleys and other custom built show bikes that turn up in Casemates."

This year the Live music will be provided by local reggae act Heritage, a resident DJ and a performance by Urban Dance.  Miss Gibraltar, Mrs Gibraltar and Princesses will also be present.

"Our lovely Poster Girl Sarah Jane will also be in attendance for photographs. The entertainment will begin at 12.30 and will continue through to around 2.30pm. When that part of the Rally concludes, this will be followed by a guided tour around the Rock as with all other years, this tour enables new and old visitors to the Rock the experience of the fantastic views from Europa Point, the Rock’s beaches and other points of interest. The tour will end at the Clubhouse premises at Lathbury barracks where the Party begins! The day continues there with more live music, shows, raffles with food and a well stocked bar serving drinks through to the evening."
