Following the success of the Netball Europe Under 17 Championships hosted locally in March, the Gibraltar Netball Association’s Senior Squad will be participating in the Netball Europe Open Championships held in Newcastle this week.

Minister for Sport, the Hon Steven Linares MP, wished the team well adding that “it is now the turn of the Seniors to participate in what will no doubt be a tough challenge. The Open Championships are predicted to be of a high standard but if the event hosted in the Tercentenary Sports Hall in March is anything to by our girls will definitely make Gibraltar proud.”
