Sir Alan Duncan’s first official visit on 9th and 10th September will reiterate the UK’s continued support for Gibraltar and its people.
"This year’s National Day platform is, unfortunately, sullied and made unworthy for our society" Equality Rights Group has stated, following the announcement that Northern Irish DUP MP Ian Paisley Jr will be among those invited.
Gibraltar Cultural Services, who are coordinating the National Day events with the Self-Determination Gibraltar Group (SDGG) is advising, that as part of the National Day Celebrations at Casemates, a Gibraltar based UAV (drone) operator, has been contracted to provide photographic support throughout the celebrations.
"National Day was established on 10th September 1992 in order to mark the 25th anniversary of the 1967 sovereignty referendum. This year it will be extra special as we celebrate fifty years since that momentous event took its place as a turning point in Gibraltar’s history.
