CEO and Captain of the Port, Commodore Bob Sanguinetti, has been elected to the board of the International Bunker Industry Association.
Gibraltar has become a member of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), an international organisation made up of national governments, private companies and civil society working towards the reduction of short-lived pollutants such as carbon and Hydrofluorocarbons.
Following the presentation made at the Media Forum during the course of the Money Fair in Berlin participants were invited to attend the unveiling of a newly sculpted effigy of the Queen which has been used in an additional series of coins to be issued in commemoration of Her Majesty’s 90th birthday.
The Air Terminal will carry out an in-house Training Exercise on the morning of Tuesday 9th February. The exercise will practice agencies’ response to a fire-related incident on an aircraft parked on one of its stands.
The Governor has chaired the first meeting of the Gibraltar Security Council (GSC) since taking office. The Chief Minister, Commissioner of Police and Commander of British Forces also attended the meeting together with senior members of their staff.
