On Friday St Mary’s First School celebrated Gibraltar’s Indian Community. All year 3 students have been working on projects based on India and Indian culture, and much of their homework is on display throughout the school.
Today the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia left Gibraltar for New York in order to attend the session of the UN Special Committee on Decolonisation, usually known as the Committee of 24.

Three Royal Academicians will be arriving in Gibraltar next week to form part of a major landmark exhibition organised by the Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture. This exhibition, entitled ‘Lines and Colours – The Royal Academicians’ will showcase the works of Anne Desmet, Barbara Rae and Ann Christopher.
The annual Gastronomy Festival “Calentita” will take place on Saturday 18th June 2016 at Grand Casemates Square between 7pm and 1am. Apart from an array of food and drink, the public will be able to enjoy activities including music, dance and cooking demonstrations.
