Today the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority, as the Data Protection Commissioner, has published its fifth guidance note on the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation, which will come into force in Gibraltar on the 25th May 2018.
Minister for Equality, the Hon Samantha Sacramento MP, hosted a reception to mark International Women’s Day. The reception at the University of Gibraltar celebrated Gibraltarian women who were the first to make significant achievements and pave the way for other women.
The flag of the European Union at different points in Gibraltar has been lowered and replaced with the flag of the Commonwealth. This is to mark Commonwealth Day which will be commemorated on Monday which is a Public Holiday.
Government has announced the programme of events for this year’s May Day on Tuesday 1st May 2018. The entertainment at Grand Casemates Square is being organised by Gibraltar Cultural Services.
