Darts Fundraising Open Day Contribution
The Gibraltar Darts Association will be holding a fund raising event in aid of the GBC Open Day on Saturday 1st December 2007. The plan is to take a freestanding dartboard out onto Main Street and surrounding areas, and into as many pubs & cafeterias as we can along the way. We shall be working our way as from 0930hrs from Library Street ending at Casemates Square.
Some of Gibraltar's top darts players will be in attendance and members of the public will be asked to pay £1 to challenge one of them. The Challenger will start with a score of 301, our players 501.
Other GDA members will be around with collecting tins trying to raise as much as possible. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us, and we hope that the general public can take a few minutes break from their shopping to have a game of darts, and donate towards the GBC Open Day.
