In the league Piranha Designs.com played their game against the Cue Ball team, postponed from the 26th January last!Lawrence Sisarello, the designer’s man-of-the-match, lost to Jonathan Collado on the black ball; after a very tight-fought game, by 57 points to 62! Next on Jeremy Gomez came up against the Cue Ball’s star man, Ernest Clinton. Ernest proved too strong for Jeremy in another black ball game, winning by 58 points to 50, giving the Cue Ball a two frames to one lead. Nicky Correa soon restored the balance when she beat Michael Zammitt 70 points to 12. The fifth and deciding frame featured Francis Becerra and Albert Perez. Francis took the frame at 61 points to 28 and so the game three frames to two; cutting the Cue Ball’s lead at the top of the table to six points!

Tich Olivero and Dougie Cooper against Wilfred Smart and Peter Valarino. A tight frame of snooker followed but Tich and Dougie out-played and out-safetied Wilf and Peter, to win the frame 51 points to 22 and the match three frames to two! Tich Olivero was nominated the Astoria’s man-of-the-match, for playing and Daryl Cavilla was overall boss-man for everything else!
