Anyone who is interested in news whether world, European or National and watches most news programmes cannot help noticing the unpleasantness and bile spouted by the leader of the Spanish Opposition party the Galician Mariano Rajoy and his two henchmen Zaplana and Acebes. Rajoy’s vitriolic opposition is aimed at anyone whose opinion or policy does not conform with his fascist credentials. His diatribe is usually accompanied by aggressive gesticulation reminiscent of the Franco era in which his right wing totalitarian attitudes were forged.
In his latest diatribe regarding events in Gibraltar his latest and probable most foolish statement was his total disagreement with Spain’s recognition of Gibraltar’s 350 International dial code. Rajoy argued that Gibraltar’s dial code can be used for the traditional money laundering by opaque companies registered in Gibraltar. This sounds familiar P.P. mantra.
Rajoy seems to ignore that quite a number of his Partido Popular Mayors in various towns in Spain have received and probably are receiving huge bribes for allowing illegal urbanizations which is common to many non PP municipalities in Spain. Such corruption is so wide spread that even President PUTIN referred to this scandal when some smart Spanish commentator referred Putin to the lack of human rights in Russia.
Does Mariano Rajoy not read his popular press? And everyone knows which Spanish newspapers support Rajoy and his party. These have given huge and regular publicity to Marbella’s “Ballena Blanca” (white whale) money laundering scandal or the latest Marbella (again) “Malaya” scandal involving fraud, illegal urbanisations, bribes and money laundering to the tune, at the last count of 4000 million Euros. Or does Rajoy not read the press which refers to the postage stamp SCAM involving investment companies called Foro Filatelico whose chairman was failed and released on a 1 million dollar bail and who had around 3 million plus dollars stashed away in a Swiss Bank Account, now frozen.
And nearer his home territory Galicia does Rajoy not recognise the massive drug trafficking that goes on at this gateway to Europe and does Rajoy not recognise the bosses of bosses the Clan Carlin citizens of Rajoy’s province?
Did all these funds pass through Gibraltar opaque Companies? There is not a peep in the Spanish Press about this and some references to Gibraltar obviously politically motivated are never ever supported by factual evidence of any sort.
Gibraltarians and many others Spaniards included know that Rajoy’s attitudes and opinions are those of a typical Spanish Dictator who uses and coerces the supine right-wing press and selected individuals to discriminate lies and vitriolic bile. Perhaps Rajoy does remember Hitler and Lord Haw Haw who were Franco’s mentors (Rajoy’s beloved dictator).
What a hypocrite and this is the clown who aspires to be President of Spain. For goodness sake. Does Rajoy not realize that he makes himself the laughing stock of Europe and the world?
Democracy. Don’t laugh please! What a Quijote.

This is serious.
The Refinery at Puente Majorca has been awarded a prize by the Junta de Andalusia for its efforts in supporting social, cultural, sporting and, don’t laugh, environmental activities since 1969 (it’s a coincidence but that year Spain closed the border). The prize consists of an abstract sculpture commissioned by the Junta de Andalusia.
The Junta might like to include in its brief to the artist that he should take into account when designing the trophy, the environmental efforts highlighting the number of people who have died of cancer and toxic poisoning. Surely the ESG and Verdemar and Ecologistas en Accion and other militant environmental groups, professors and specialists can provide statistics. But please don’t ask Fuensanta Coves the Junta’s Environment Minister. To her the Refinery is a mirage.
It’s unbelievable that the Junta is ignorant or does not want to know what’s happening at Puente Majorca at the newly named Refinery Gibraltar – San Roque, which should fly a Pirate flag well known to Spanish Galleons in the fifteen hundreds.
SLANGING MATCHES
The rivalry between La Linea and San Roque or should we say the Partido Popular and PSOE (Spanish Socialist Party) goes on unabated.
Re-cycled Fascist Manuel Aguilera Deputy Mayor of Bankrupt La Linea and Jump on the Bandwagon Juarez’s henchman is trading insults with the Provincial President of the PSOE Francisco Gonzalez Cabana who Aguilera accuses of unduly influencing the Anti-corruption Fiscal General of Andalusia to investigate scandals and corruption in La Linea.
Aguilera suggests that instead of looking towards La Linea Cabana should look into allegations of false invoices that Cabana’s family submitted for hundreds of millions of (then) pesetas to municipalities in the Cadiz Province.
And that PSOE Mayor of San Roque Jose Vasquez should not use his family’s company to do work, and be paid handsomely for work undertaken for San Roque Town Hall.
And that the Jimena Mayor has allowed illegal construction on prohibited areas within the Alcornocales Natural Park.
Charming isn’t he? Aguilera should really look into his own backyard first.
QUESTION
Does Senior Rajoy know where TELDE is?
Just let me remind him. The Mayor of Telde in the Canary Islands and a member of Rajoy’s Popular Party, and five, repeat five, Popular Party City Councillors are in jail charged with corruption.
We haven’t heard a peep from Rajoy. Perhaps TELDE does not exist.
